Debe su nombre a la popularidad de esta preparaci\u00f3n por parte de mujeres de pollera en un parque urbano de la zona sur de La Paz, luego conocida como especialidad del lugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"691\" height=\"626\" src=\"https:\/\/lapaz.bo\/turismo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SANDIWCH-DE-CHOLA.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-962\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lapaz.bo\/turismo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SANDIWCH-DE-CHOLA.jpg 691w, https:\/\/lapaz.bo\/turismo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SANDIWCH-DE-CHOLA-300x272.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 691px) 100vw, 691px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>Tiene su origen en Per\u00fa en el a\u00f1o 1880 donde se cre\u00f3 el s\u00e1ndwich \u201cbutifarra\u201d un embutido con carne de cerdo acompa\u00f1ad con lechuga &nbsp;&nbsp;y verduras criollas, el cual era consumido durante las corridas de toro, posteriormente y ya en el siglo xx m\u00e1s precisamente el a\u00f1o 1908 la butifarra llega a Bolivia, al llegar al pa\u00eds fueron las denominadas \u201ccholitas\u201d quienes comercializaron este plato desde su llegada hasta nuestros tiempos. Antiguamente este plato se vend\u00eda en la avenida Arequipa, sin embargo, las vendedoras fueron reubicadas a la zona de Obrajes al lado del parque La Florida y es debido a esta reubicaci\u00f3n que ahora se lo conoce como \u201cEl Parque de las Cholas\u201d. &nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En palabras del chef Luis Ballivian instructor de la Escuela Hotelera a pesar del paso de los a\u00f1os el plato no ha tenido muchos cambios, pero puede resaltarse que en sus inicios el s\u00e1ndwich se preparaba con la tradicional marraqueta y no llevaba escabeche, asegura tambi\u00e9n que fue por los a\u00f1os 50 que el chicharon o cuerito de cerdo se a\u00f1adi\u00f3, de igual manera con la llajhua y mayonesa. Con el pasar de los a\u00f1os el s\u00e1ndwich de chola se volvi\u00f3 popular a nivel nacional, tanto que ahora podemos encontrarlo en todos los departamentos de Bolivia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredientes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u2022 1 pierna de cerdo<br>\u2022 Panes redondos<br>\u2022 1 kg de escabeche (cebollas y zanahorias al vinagre)<br>\u2022 Medio kg de tomate<br>\u2022 3 cebollas<br>\u2022 2 limones<br>\u2022 6 dientes de ajo<br>\u2022 4 vainas de aj\u00ed picante, variante colorada<br>\u2022 1 sobrecito de bicarbonato<br>\u2022 Pimienta y comino al gusto<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El s\u00e1ndwich de chola es un emparedado con lonjas de carne de cerdo, aderezado con abundante salsa y picantes.
